Today we’re talking about probably THE most hot-button topic in Telluride, which is the proposed cap on Short Term Rentals (STRs).

For those who aren’t aware, there is going to be an item on the November ballot where Telluride residents will be able to choose whether or not they support capping STR licenses at 400 per year. To provide context, there are currently about 740 licenses, including some properties that will be exempt from the cap (individual hotel rooms & primary residences).
